• (3) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end
with diagonal seams and cut (2) 4 ½” x 45 ½” strips.
• (3) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end
with diagonal seams and cut (2) 4 ½” x 47 ½” strips.

(Monotone Dot - Pink) (Backing), cut:
• (2) 55” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips
together and trim to make the 55” x 61” back.

5. Sew (1) 2” x 36 ½” Fabric G strip to the top of (1) CD
row to make (1) GCD strip. Repeat to make a second GCD
strip.
6. Sew (2) CD strips together lengthwise to make (1) CC
row.
Sewing Instructions
1. Sew (1) 2” x 6 ½” Fabric G strip to each end of (1)
34 ½” x 6 1/2” Fabric B strip. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 37 ½”
Fabric G strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric B
strip. Trim the block to measure 36 ½” x 9 ½” to make (1)
GB row (Fig. 1). Repeat to make a second GB row.

2. Sew (1) 3 ½” x WOF Fabric C strip and (1) 3 ½” x WOF
Fabric D strip together lengthwise to make (1) CD strip set
(Fig. 2). Repeat to make a second CD strip set.
3. Cut the CD strip sets into (24) 3 ½” x 6 ½” CD strips
(Fig. 3). 4. Sew (6) CD strips together end to end to make (1) CD
row (Fig. 4). Repeat to make (4) CD rows total.

Quilt Top Assembly
(Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)
7. Sew (1) 5” x 36 ½” Fabric A strip, (1) GCD row, (1) GB
row, (1) CC row, (1) GB row, (1) GCD row (orientation is
opposite of the first GCD row) and (1) 5” x 36 ½” Fabric A
strip together lengthwise and in that order to make the quilt.
8. Sew (1) 2” x 42 ½” Fabric E strip to each side of the quilt
top. Sew (1) 2” x 39 ½” Fabric E strip to the top and to the
bottom of the quilt top.
9. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 45 ½” Fabric F strip to each side of the
quilt top. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 47 ½” Fabric F strip to the top and
to the bottom of the quilt top.
10. LaHUDQGTXLOWDVGHVLUHG.
11. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric D strips together, end
to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this
long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and
press.
12. Bind as desired.
