Crochet 45sc along the front loops of row 9 so you get a raised edge (see photo). Close with a sl.st. in the first sc.

Sew the beak between the eyes on the head.

Sew the wattles under the beak (see photo). COMB Crochet 13ch Start in the second ch from the hook and crochet: 1sl.st, 2sc, *1hdc, 3dc in the next ch, 1hdc, 1sc* Repeat ** 1 time and close with a sl.st. Sew the comb between the eyes. The side indicated with an X should come at the front (see photo).
