BASIC MATERIALS
Colorful yarn
With every pattern in this book we list the materials used
to create that amigurumi. Any type of cotton, acrylic or
wool can be used. Yarn comes in different weights. The
yarn weight used in the original design is specified in each
pattern, you can however change this to your preference
provided you match it with the right crochet hook. Much
of what you need to know is on the yarn label, but it might
take a little bit of decoding. Below we add a chart that can
help you make the right choice. The amounts of yarn you
need are rather small and will vary according to how loosely
or tightly you crochet, we add an estimate of the amount
needed to each pattern. You could use some of the rem-
nants from other projects or start with a new ball of yarn.
Crochet hooks
Not only yarn, but hooks as well come in different sorts
and sizes. Bigger hooks make bigger stitches than smaller
ones. It is important to match the right hook with the
right type of yarn. The crochet fabric should be quite
tight, without any gaps through which the stuffing can
escape. It is better to use a hook two or three sizes
smaller than stated on the yarn label to achieve this.
Hooks are usually made from aluminum or steel. Metal hooks tend to slip between the stitches more easily.
Preferably choose a crochet hook with a rubber or
ergonomic handle.
Stitch marker
A stitch marker is a small clip made of metal or plastic. It’s
a simple tool to mark your starting point and give you the
assurance that you’ve made the right number of stitches
in each round. With your stitch marker you always mark
the last stitch of the previous round.
Stuffing
For the filling, polyester fiberfill is advised. You can pur-
chase this at any craft shop. It is inexpensive, wash
able and
non-allergenic. Be careful not to overstuff your amigurumi,
as the stuffing might stretch the fabric and show through.
Safety eyes
For some patterns safety eyes are used. These are widely
available in craft shops. Be alert when you apply safety
eyes: once you put the washer on, you won’t be able to pull
it off again, so be very careful that the post is where you
want it to be before attaching the washer. Alternatively,
the features can be embroidered, which is recommended
if you’re crocheting for children under the age of three. For
embroidery a tapestry needle with a rounded tip is used.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU START
Skill level
Every pattern is marked with a skill level to indicate how
easy they are to make. If this is your first time making
amigurumi, it's best to start with a beginner or easy pattern
and work up to the intermediate and experienced ones.
Pattern structure
All patterns in this book are worked in continuous spirals,
not in joined rounds. Crocheting in spirals can be confusing
since there’s no clear indication of where a new round
begins and the previous one ends. To keep track of the
rounds, you can mark the end of a round with a stitch
marker or safety pin. After crocheting the next round,
you should end up right above your stitch marker. Move
your stitch marker at the end of each round to keep track
of where you are.
At the beginning of each line of the pattern you will find
‘Rnd’ + a number to indicate which round you are on.
Although we usually crochet in rounds, occasionally it
happens that we switch to rows. When we switch to rows, it will be indicated with ‘Row’ + a number.
When working in rows, you make a turning chain and turn
your piece at the end of each row. Skip the turning chain
and start the next row in the next stitch.
At the end of each line you will find the number of
stitches you should have in brackets, for example [9].
When in doubt, take a moment to check your stitch count.
Abbreviations are used throughout the book. You can find
their explanations on the next pages.
When part of the instructions repeats throughout the
round, we place it between rounded brackets followed by
the number of times it should be repeated. We do this to
shorten the pattern and make it less cluttered.

BASIC STITCHES
If this is your first time making amigurumi, you might
find it useful to have a tutorial at hand. With the stitches
explained on the next pages you can make all of the
amigurumi in this book. You can practice these stitches
before you start making one of the designs. This will help
you to read the patterns and abbreviations more comfort-
ably without having to browse back to these pages.
Chain (abbreviation: ch)
This stitch is the basis for many crochet patterns. If you’re
working in rows, your first row will be a series of chain
stitches. Use the hook to draw the yarn through the loop (1)
and pull the loop until tight (2). Wrap the yarn over the
hook from back to front. Pull the hook, carrying the yarn,
through the loop already on your hook (3). You have now
completed one chain stitch. Repeat step 3 as many times
as indicated in the pattern to create a foundation chain (4).
Slip stitch (abbreviation: slst)
A slip stitch is used to move across one or more stitches at
once or to finish a piece. Insert your hook into the next
stitch (1). Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw through
the stitch and the loop on your hook at once (2).
Single crochet (abbreviation: sc)
Single crochet is the stitch that will be most frequently
used in this book. Insert the hook into the next chain
stitch (1) and wrap the yarn over the hook. Pull the yarn
through the stitch (2). You will see that there are now
two loops on the hook. Wrap the yarn over the hook again
and draw it through both loops at once (3). You have now
completed one single crochet stitch (4). Insert the hook
into the next chain stitch to continue the row (5).

Half double crochet (abbreviation: hdc)
Bring your yarn over the hook from back to front before
placing the hook in the stitch. Now insert your hook in
the third chain – without counting the loop on the

hook (1). Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw the
yarn through the chain stitch. You now have three loops
on the hook (2). Wrap the yarn over the hook again
and pull it through all three loops on the hook (3).
You have completed your first half double crochet
stitch. To continue, bring your yarn over the hook and
insert it in the next chain stitch (4).
Double crochet (abbreviation: dc)
Bring your yarn over the hook from back to front before
placing the hook in the stitch. Now insert your hook
in the fourth chain – without counting the loop on the
hook (1). Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw the yarn
through the chain stitch. You now have three loops on
the hook (2). Wrap the yarn over the hook again and
pull it through the first two loops on the hook (3). You
now have two loops on the hook. Wrap the yarn over the
hook one last time and draw it through both loops on the
hook (4). You have now completed one double crochet
stitch. To continue, bring your yarn over the hook and
insert it in the next chain stitch (5).

Invisible decrease
Triple or treble crochet (abbreviation: tr)
Bring your yarn over the hook twice before you insert it in
the fifth chain from the hook (1). Wrap the yarn over the
hook and draw the yarn through the chain stitch (2). Wrap
the yarn over the hook again and pull it through the first
two loops on the hook (3). Repeat this last step twice (4, 5).
You have now completed one triple crochet stitch. Start the
next triple crochet in the next chain stitch (6).
Increase (abbreviation: inc)
To increase you make two single crochet stitches in the
next stitch.
Invisible decrease (abbreviation: dec)
The standard method of decreasing can leave a small
bump or gap. The invisible decrease is an alternative
method of decreasing which will make your decrease
stitch look much like the other stitches in the row,
resulting in a smoother and more even crochet fabric.
Insert the hook in the front loop of your first stitch. Now
immediately insert your hook in the front loop of the
second stitch (1). You now have three loops on your
hook. Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw it through
the first two loops on your hook (2). Wrap the yarn over
again and draw it through the two loops remaining on
your hook (3). You have now completed one invisible
decrease.

Bobble stitch
Front loops only or back loops only
Invisibly decrease 3 stitches at once
Invisibly decrease 3 stitches at once
(abbreviation: sc3tog)
Insert the hook under the front loop only of the next
three stitches (1). You now have four loops on your
hook (2). Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw it through
the first three loops on the hook. Wrap the yarn over the
hook again and pull through the remaining two loops
on the hook (3). You have now completed one invisible
decrease with 3 stitches at once.
Front loops only (abbreviation: FLO)
and Back loops only (abbreviation: BLO)
When making a crochet stitch, you end up with two
loops at the top of the stitch, a front loop towards
you (1) and a back loop (2). When asked to crochet FLO
or BLO you make the same stitch, but leave one loop
untouched.
Bobble stitch
The bobble stitch creates a soft dimensional bobble in
your crochetwork. Think of it as a cluster of double
crochet stitches worked in the same stitch. Bring your
yarn over the hook from back to front before placing the
hook in the stitch (1). Wrap the yarn over the hook and
draw the yarn through the stitch. You now have three
loops on the hook. Wrap the yarn over the hook again and
pull it through the first two loops on the hook. One half-
closed double crochet stitch is complete, and two loops
remain on the hook (2). In the same stitch, repeat the pre-
ceding steps twice. You now have four loops on your hook.
Wrap the yarn over your hook and draw the yarn through
all four loops on the hook (3). One 3-dc-bobble-stitch is
complete. Create a bobble stitch with as many dc stitches
as indicated in the pattern.

IncreaseMagic ring
BASIC TECHNIQUES
Magic ring
A magic ring is the ideal way to start crocheting in the
round. You start by crocheting over an adjustable loop
and finally pull the loop tight when you have finished
the required number of stitches. The advantage of this
method is that there’s no hole left in the middle of your
starting round, through which your stuffing can escape.
Start with the yarn crossed to form a circle (1). Draw up
a loop with your hook, but don’t pull it tight (2). Hold the
circle with your index finger and thumb and wrap the
working yarn over your middle finger (3). Make one chain
stitch by wrapping the yarn over the hook and pulling it
through the loop on your hook (4, 5). Now insert your
hook into the loop and underneath the tail. Wrap the
yarn over the hook and draw up a loop (6). Wrap the yarn
over the hook again (7) and draw it through both loops
on your hook. You have now completed your first single
crochet stitch (8). Continue crocheting (repeating steps
6, 7, 8) until you have the required number of stitches as
mentioned in the pattern. Now grab the yarn tail and pull
to draw the centre of the ring tightly closed (9, 10).
You can now begin your second round by crocheting into
the first single crochet stitch of the magic ring. You can
use a stitch marker to remember where you started.
If you do not prefer this technique, you can start
each piece using the following technique: ch 2,
x sc into the second chain from the hook – where x is the
number of sc stitches you would make in your magic ring.

Invisible color change
Crochet around a foundation chain
Fastening off
Crochet around a foundation chain
Some pieces start with an oval instead of a circle. You
make an oval by crocheting around a foundation chain
instead of crocheting into a magic ring. Crochet a foun-
dation chain with as many chains as mentioned in the
pattern. Start in the second chain from your hook (1) and
work a single crochet stitch in this chain stitch (2). Work
your crochet stitches into each chain across as men-
tioned in the pattern (3). The last stitch before
turning is usually an increase stitch (4). Now, turn your
work upside down to work into the underside of the chain
stitches. You’ll notice that only one loop is available,
simply insert your crochet hook in this loop (5). Work
your stitches into each chain across. When finished, your
last stitch should be next to the first stitch you made (6).
You can now continue working in spirals.
Invisible color change
When you want to switch from one color to the next,
you work to within two stitches before a color change.
Make the next stitch as usual, but don’t pull the final loop
through (1). Instead, wrap the new color of yarn around
your hook and pull it through the remaining loops (2). To
make a neat color change, you can make the first stitch
in the new color a slip stitch instead of a single crochet.
Don’t pull the slip stitch too tight or it will be difficult to
crochet into in the next round. Tie the loose tails in a knot
and leave them on the inside.
Fastening off
When you’ve finished crocheting, cut the yarn a couple
of inches/cm from your last stitch. Pull the yarn through
the last loop until it is all the way through (1). You now
have a finished knot. Thread the long tail through a tap-
estry needle and insert your tapestry needle through the
back loop of the next stitch (2). This way the finishing knot
will remain invisible in your finished piece. You can use this
piece of yarn to continue sewing the body pieces together.

BASIC TECHNIQUES - 15

Joining all parts
First, pin together the parts that you want to sew to one
another, so you can evaluate the results and adjust if
necessary. If possible, use the leftover yarn tail from
where you fastened off, or use a new length of the same
yarn color from one of the pieces that you want to join.
When the different pieces are open: position the piece
on the body and sew all around it, going through the
front stitches of both the extremity and the body.
When the opening of the different pieces is sewn closed
before attaching them to the body: line up the stitches
of one side with the other side and sew through the front
loop of one side and the back loop of the other side. Use
the same color of yarn as the pieces you want to join
together.
Always make sure pieces are securely attached so that
they can’t be pulled off. Make small, neat stitches and try
to make them show as little as possible.WORKING WITH FURRY YARN
Magic ring with furry yarn
If you have trouble making a magic ring in furry yarn, you
can start each piece using this technique: ch 2, x sc into the
second chain from the hook – where x is the number of sc
stitches you would make in your magic ring.

Decreasing with furry yarn
The invisible decrease method, most commonly used
for making amigurumi, might not be the easiest method
when working with furry yarn where individual loops are
more difficult to see. Instead you can decrease with this
method:
Insert your hook into the next stitch, wrap your yarn
around your hook and draw up a loop. Insert the hook
into the next stitch, wrap your yarn around your hook and
draw up a second loop. You now have three loops on your
hook. Wrap your yarn around the hook one last time and
draw through all three loops on the hook.

Protect
your yarn stash!

Walt is a big animal lover. He loves
cute, woolly animals, such as sheep,
but most animals run away from him as soon as they spot him. Luckily,
Walt has a couple of fuzzy friends,
such as the llama and the poodle. He believes that one day all species will live together in peace no matter the color of their skin or the length of their arms.

WALT THE GREEN MONSTER - 23

Although his three eyes might suggest otherwise, Toby doesn't have the best eyesight among his
monster friends, and he doesn’t see a bit without
his custom-made triple glasses. His buddies love to play hide-and-seek with him because they always win, but Toby is a good sport about it all – he's a
monster with great character! And while his friends hide in the smallest nooks and crannies, he can go lay on the couch, and take a nice nap!

TOBY THE TRICLOPS - 27

Dirk doesn’t like to scare people.
Fortunately, most people are not really afraid of his dizzy looks. In an attempt to reinvent his
monster career, he has adopted
the stage name Dizzy Dirkie and
is now performing on stage in the
city theatre. If he can make people smile, he’s happy as well.

candy, and she’s eaten so much
of it, that she started to look just like it! Luckily her favorite color
is pink and she doesn’t mind the
sudden change, she just needs to
be careful not to take a bite

What’s that noise coming from under the bed? Are you brave enough to take a look? If you’re very
quiet and very quick you may get to see Jeepers and Creepers staring back at you in wide-eyed
wonder. Their three big eyes help them to peer about in the under-the-bed gloom where they
spend their time rolling up household fluff into
dust bunnies. Even if you’re not fast enough to see
these shy little monsters for yourself, you may well find a dust bunny or two to prove their existence.

There once was a monster named Myrtle, Who lived in the mud on a dirt hill. She created a mess, We have to confess,
Her cleaning attempts were infertile.
There once was a monster named Monty. His life was so far really jaunty. Until one day,
We don’t dare to say,
He learned Myrtle was truly his auntie.

Every day, YumYum takes an empty lunch
box to school. He’s not a bad pupil though, quite to the contrary: he’s been hired by
the school head to steal all the kids’ chips bags, cookies, chocolate bars and soda
cans, and consume them himself. This way, the kids in school will only have healthy
things to eat. As long as they don’t find out about his mission, it’s a great plan.

Monster Mama has all of her hands full
with the care for her three little monster babies. They’re always hungry and their cries are really loud. She loves her girls
Melli and Molli and her little darling Booh,
but she’s always happy and relieved when her partner comes home from work to
help her out. She tries to soothe the little ones with scary tales of human snoring, but it’s not working very well yet.

MONSTER MAMA - 63

Zak’s insatiable appetite for candy will certainly be his downfall. Quiet and
mild-mannered most of the time, Zak goes into a frenzy the instant he hears the
tell-tell crackle of a candy wrapper. One look into his eyes will tell you that he’s
really a good guy at heart, but consider
yourself warned: lock up the candy before he comes to visit!

– Sew the eye whites to the body. Use pins to help them
stay in place. The eye whites should be resting over
rounds 18 and 28.
– Using black yarn, embroider the nose by making
several horizontal stitches between rounds 27 and 28,
in the center between the eyes. The nose should be 4
stitches wide.
– Position the eyebrows above each eye, 9 stitches
apart. Sew only the 2 chain stitches at the ends of each
eyebrow to the body (picture 10). Sew the stitch at the
inner end of the eyebrows over rounds 16 and 17 and
sew the outer ends over rounds 20 and 21. This makes
the center of the eyebrows moveable.
– Mark the right and left side of the body between rounds
37 and 38 with pins (picture 11). Each pin should be
aligned with the outer end of each eyebrow. Use black
yarn to embroider the mouth with a running stitch from
the right side of the body to the left side (picture 12).
– Sew the bottom eyelids below the eye whites, over
rounds 28 and 30 (picture 13).
– Pinch the open part of each ear and sew them together.
Sew the base of the ears to the body over rounds 19 and
20, with an interspace of 3 stitches from each eyebrow
(pictures 14 and 15).
– Sew the tooth below the left bottom eyelid, just above
the mouth line, over rounds 32 and 37.
– Sew the spiky hair pieces on top of the head.. The one
in front should be centered, over rounds 2 and 3 while
the one at the back should be slightly off center to the
left over rounds 5 and 6 (picture 16).
– Sew the arms on both sides of the body between
rounds 34 and 35, 16 stitches apart at the back.
– Use pins to position the legs over rounds 15 and 21 of
each foot. Use the long tail from the foot to sew the leg
onto the foot (picture 17).
– Sew the top of the legs to the bottom of the body,

MR. BLUE - 81

Little Ella has a lively imagination and she’s always daydreaming
about faraway lands and fantastical
adventures - which somehow always
happens when she is in the classroom.
Today, she's fantasizing that she’s a scary monster chasing away all
those creepy crawly bugs she’s oth- erwise so scared of.

ASSEMBLY
– Sew the hair to the head, the gap positioned over the
right eye. Embroider two strands of hair as shown (pic-
ture 4). Stuff the head with more fiberfill if necessary.
– Sew the pigtails to either side of the hair, at 2 rounds
above the edge of the hairline. –
Sew the monster head to the monster body. Note that
the decreases made from rounds 16 to 18 make up
the sides of the body. Find the middle stitch between
the sides of the body (picture 5). Count 10 stitches
towards one side of this middle stitch. Start sewing
the monster head into the next 21 leftover front loops,
using whip stitches.
– Sew the arms to the body between rounds 29 and 30,
approximately 19 stitches apart in the front, with the
hands pointing inwards towards the body.
– Sew the legs to the body over rounds 2 to 4, with the
toes facing forward.

– Sew the tail to the body over rounds 6 to 13, between
the two legs. Note that the tail should curve upwards
(picture 6). Check to see if Little Ella is balanced when
she stands.
– Sew the tail spikes to the top of the tail. The small
spike should be sewn on over rounds 4 to 8. Sew the
big tail spikes next to the smaller spike (picture 6).
– Sew the spots to the monster body (pictures 7 and 8).
– Sew Little Ella’s head to the monster body, onto the
dark pink. Her chin should be positioned between
rounds 34 and 35 (picture 9).
– Sew the eyes to the monster head over rounds 12 to 16,
approximately 3 stitches apart (picture 10). Ensure that
the stitches you make go through in between the outer
and inner pieces of the monster head and don't show on
the inside of the head.
– Sew the horns to the monster head over rounds
5 and 6, with the horns curving inwards towards
each other. Be careful that the stitches used to
sew on the horns go through the middle of the
outer and inner pieces of the monster head
and don't show on the inside of the
head.
– Thread a needle with a strand of
dark pink yarn. Attach the yarn
to the inside base of each horn
(picture 11). Spiral the yarn up and
around each horn and secure the end
by inserting the needle (picture 12)
and bringing it out at the base of each horn.
Backstitch the contrasting yarn so it doesn’t
loosen.
– Sew the teeth to the monster body. The foundation
chain of the row of teeth should be affixed between
rounds 31 and 32, where the color changes.
– Optional: apply blusher to Little Ella's cheeks to give her
rosy cheeks.
LITTLE ELLA IN HER MONSTER SUIT - 89

Murphy is a bit of a megalomaniac.
He thinks he’s the scariest monster in town, with his devilish horns and big, sharp teeth. But he’s actually rather small, so he can only scare
you if you bend over far enough and hold your breath until you hear him give a little squeak.

MURPHY MCTOOTHY - 95

Speed has been living with the same happy family
in the village for years. They once found him in the closet, and thinking they discovered a beautiful
antique, put him in the living room. He is happy,
enthusiastic and clumsy, he loves humming his
favorite songs when nobody's around and sometimes
he has to make a dash for his eyes, if they go rolling all over the place again. Luckily, the humans in the house don't see or hear it, they wouldn't believe it anyway.

Have you ever wondered about those single socks disappearing from your laundry every now and then? Well
now you know: Solomon Sockeater is the one hiding behind your washer,
waiting to grab just one sock of each pair … and eat it! Sock stew is his
favorite dish and whenever that’s served, he’ll grin from ear to ear.

of the teeth pointing out, about 2 rows overlapping the
fold. Sew the teeth on, making sure to pierce only that
single layer of the lip touching the teeth directly (picture

SCULPTURING OF THE HEAD
– To ensure that the eye sockets stay inwards, pull and sew the starting yarn tails of the eye sockets to round
49, at the back of the head (picture 11).
– To create a smile, secure a piece of yarn (approximately 70 cm / 2 feet) in one corner of the mouth. Using a
long doll needle, direct the yarn to the inner corner of
the eye on the opposite side (picture 12). Pull tightly.
Now stitch through to the corner of the second eye, and
from there to the second corner of the mouth (picture
13). Pull tightly and secure the yarn.
– Pierce back to the opposite corner of the eye and secure the yarn there. Now, pull the yarn through almost verti-
cally to the centre of the neck area where the neck will be
attached (picture 14). Pull tight. Stitch back to the inner
corner of the second eye (picture 15) and from there back
to the inner corner of the first eye. Repeat and secure the
yarn in the area of the neck. Weave in the yarn end.

SOLOMON SOCKEATER - 117

Beate Nätzer (BY BaT) – Germany
Beate caught the crochet bug when she
stumbled upon an amigurumi magazine. She
creates toys for her two boys, as well as for
herself: we all love our inner child, after all.
Janine Holmes (Moji-Moji Design) – United Kingdom
Janine has always loved working with yarns and fibers and has a professional
background in both woven and printed textiles. Crochet is the most recent
addition to her list of skills and since discovering the endless creative
possibilities of amigurumi it looks set to remain a definite favorite!
DIY Fluffies – The Netherlands
When Mariska's sons leave for school and her husband goes off
to work, she gets behind the sewing machine and picks up her
crochet hook. With her boundless imagination, she makes the
coolest patterns for stuffies! YOUnique Crafts – United States
Noah always loved every kind of art, from doodling in a sketch book to

writing original music. But crocheting offers him something different from
every other art form: it gives him the ability to create an inanimate object
and yet be able to give it a character and a personality that reflects himself.
Little Aqua Girl – Australia
Erinna is a scientist by day and a crochet
lover by night. She loves soft colors and
'kawaii' characters. Her amigurumi score
high on the scale of cuteness.
Woolytoons – The Netherlands
Tessa has been hooked on amigurumi since
2005. At that time, there were hardly any Dutch
patterns available, so she took on the mission to
create them herself.
118 - DESIGNERS
Ildikko – Hungary
When you discover Ildi's designs, they'll
instantly put a smile on your face. She has
a vivid imagination and makes the cutest
pictures of her finished amigurumi. Lien Beulch/lsbeulch@yahoo.com.br/2017-08-03 22:02

Dendennis – The Netherlands
As a graphic designer, Dennis breathes design. Thanks to
amigurumi he can bring his cheerful fantasy world to life.
He creates the funniest figures with just a few balls of yarn and
a crochet hook. You might spot him crocheting on the train.
Özlem Yildiz Teke (Ringbeller) – Turkey
Özlem’s sudden realization that she wanted to do a lot more
knitting, crocheting and pottery led her to open up more time for
her favorite crafts. Her mind is always full of new ideas and crafting
helps her to make them real (without having to draw them first).
Elma Versluis – The Netherlands
Elma’s grandfather tried to teach her to crochet
when she was younger, and although she didn’t pick
up on it right away, she quickly became a regular
crochet addict afterwards.
MJ Carlos (Hello Yellow Yarn) – Australia
MJ worked in the finance industry for 15 years but always had a passion for arts
and crafts. She has been hooked on amigurumi for a few years now and thoroughly
enjoys the creative freedom and creative process of designing toys. Her two young
children are her biggest source of inspiration for designing adorable characters.
Karla Fitch (The Itsy Bitsy Spider) – United States
Karla taught herself to crochet as a teenager and she has been
hooking up treasures for more years than she cares to admit. While
she has made everything from afghans to accessories, amigurumi
remain her favorite, as they enable her to bring her imagination to life.
Maja Hansen – Denmark
7 years ago Maja discovered crochet, and was immediately hooked. It is
now her primary hobby and she uses a lot of her spare time writing and
developing patterns. She even published a couple of books in her home
country and contributed to different websites and magazines.
DESIGNERS - 119
Cees van Tol – The Netherlands
When she discovered a booklet about amigurumi, years ago,
Cees was immediately hooked! Since that day she has already
hooked up hundreds of cuddlies and once in a while she designs one
herself. In addition to crocheting, she likes running and motorbiking.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who participated in this
contest and all amigurumi fans around the world who voted for their favorite characters, to the 14 designers who participated in this
book and who were a joy to work with, to Sophie for making
