 Acrylic yarn; light brown, chocolate brown or black
 Crochet hook suitable for the yarn you use (mine is 1.85 mm.)
 One pair of 9 or 10 mm. safety eyes
 Plastic nose (embroider instead if you don’t have i t)
 Stuff of your choice

Embroider floss (black for light brown Lab. and lig ht brown for chocolate Lab.)
 Tapestry needle
 Sewing needle for yarn
 Small pieces of white felt for eye patches and red for tongue
 Ribbon, fabric, bell, leather or anything you want to decorate your puppy

sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2sc in a stitch)
dec = decrease (2sc off together)
sl st = slip stitch
FLO = Front Loop Only
BLO = Back Loop Only
* = repeat directions between * and * as many as in dicated

I start crochet by making two rings as in Japanese style. It makes the starting hole tight and
secure. You can start in whichever way you feel com fortable.
